Administration and Scheduling

Independent You offers transportation to older adults in their service area.  Drivers provide safe and reliable transportation for seniors for medical appointments, to do errands, visit the bank, library, pharmacy or to enjoy social events.  If a senior uses a wheelchair it must be folded up to fit in a car. 

Drivers are fully insured and have gone through complete background checks which include state and county criminal checks, and DMV record reviews. Drivers can provide transportation to seniors in our own vehicles or yours.   Transportation services are available in the Northern Virginia area. Additional areas can be considered upon request.

Independent You provides driving services for an hourly rate plus mileage and there is a two hour minimum.

Transportation can also be provided to take you on your errands, wait for you, and bring you back home.
