Who We Are

University of Virginia’s Health System has a Memory and Aging Care Clinic that participates in many national multi-site clinical trials aimed at discovering new therapies that slow or stop the progression of different neurodegenerative diseases:

  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Dementia with Lewy bodies
  • Frontotemporal dementia

The Memory and Aging Care Clinic’s coordinators work closely with patients to determine their eligibility to participate in clinical trials and provide ongoing support and assistance. UVA has many programs to aid and help patients with Alzheimer’s disease, and their families.
