STOP provides weatherization service to qualified low-income residents. The Weatherization Assistance program provides funds to reduce the heating and cooling costs for low-income families, and to ensure their health and safety. Priority is given to the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and families with children.
The program includes reducing air leakage, wrapping water heaters and insulating and venting attics. For more information, call the Weatherization Component at (757) 858-1397.
