Skilled Nursing Facility

South Roanoke Nursing Home provides skilled nursing services. Capacity is 98 beds.   South Roanoke has two units each staffed, twenty-four hours a day, by Charge Nurses, Medication Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The licensed professional Nurses dispense medications and treatments ordered by the physician. Our trained staff works closely with each resident and the physician to develop a care plan designed to meet the needs of each individual resident.



Certified Nursing Assistants are an integral part of the care team. They are licensed to provide personal care for each resident. Our CNA's have permanent assignments offering a more comfortable, secure environment for the resident.



Physical, occupational and speech therapies are available as needed.



Will take Alzheimer's patients, however does not have a designated Alzheimer's unit. Offers short term respite stays.
