Nursing Facility, Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation

Skyline Nursing and Rehab is a 90-bed nursing facility, which provides skilled and long-term nursing care in addition to respite and hospice care. Skyline Manor is located in the heart of Floyd County in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, within minutes of local physicians and less than an hour from 5 major hospitals.



Their Special Care Unit is designed to provide a dignified living to those individuals in the first and middle stages of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. The Special Care Unit includes a spacious secured living area and enclosed courtyard which encourages freedom of movement while ensuring the resident's safety. The nursing, social service, activity, and therapy professionals are dedicated to enhancing the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.



Their purpose is to provide Intermediate long-term care. Alzheimer's patients are accepted. Respite Care is provided on a case by case basis. Will take multiple family members. Offers physical, speech, and occupational therapy, as well as counseling.
