Who We Are
King George County Sheriff's office participates, along with other agencies, in TRIAD by implementing activities designed to reduce the level of criminal victimization as it impacts senior persons.
TRIAD is one of the fastest growing crime prevention programs in the country. It is a cooperative effort of law enforcement agencies (police/fire/sheriffs), senior citizens, and senior organizations, focused on reducing crimes against our most vulnerable citizens: our seniors.
The goal of TRIAD is to reduce the fear of crime and victimization among seniors by increasing awareness of scams and frauds targeting them, strengthening communication between the law enforcement and senior communities, and educating seniors on local and state resources that are available in their community.
The Prince George County TRIAD Chapter meets quarterly at King George Sheriff's Office at 1:00 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Contact Detective Sergeant Karen Richards at 540-775-8492.
