The Chamberlin offers active independent apartment living for residents 55 years and better. All apartments include 24 hour concierge desk, social calendar, complimentary coffee bar located in The Channel Bistro, membership to the Hygeia Health Club, emergency call system, 24 hour emergency maintenance, scheduled transportation, flexible dining plan and more.
Extra services available are housekeeping services, personal storage, catering services, dry cleaning services, physical and occupational therapy, beauty salon and more.
Supportive living is offered at The Chamberlin. Services are provided through Sentara and Always Best Care Senior Services. Supportive services can include medication reminders, dressing and grooming assistance, bathing assistance, escorts to meals and activities, assistance with meals, shopping and laundry, transportation to medical facilities, and more.
The Chamberlin is now open to the public for Dining, Special Events and Weddings. Located on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay at the crown jewel of Ft. Monroe, the historic Chamberlin offers wonderful club style living with breathtaking waterfront views.
