Who We Are

Greene County Transit operates under Jaunt as a demand-response, door-to-door, public transportation system for anyone in Greene County.  Services are provided for older adults, people with disabilities, shoppers, workers, and for any other transportation needs that are required by the residents of Greene County.  Transportation may be provided to doctor's appointments, pharmacy needs, shopping, work, library, Senior Citizen Center, sports events, etc.

Staff are regularly trained in public relations, safety, efficiency, and many other areas of interest of public service. 

If you have questions or concerns on the day of your trip, please call the dispatch office at 434-985-5205 (use option 1). Fare have temporarily been eliminated.

The Greene Circulator Service operates from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Charlottesville Link Service operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
