Sanctuary Plus Emergency Shelter Domestic Violence Services

Sanctuary Plus is a shelter for survivors and their children operated by My Sister's Place. Sanctuary Plus provides shelter for up 15 survivors and their children. The shelter features a comfortable home environment with 15 bedrooms, a children's resource center, a secure playground, and a commercial kitchen with a full-time chef who plans nutritious meals for families.



During the approximately 90-day stay at Sanctuary Plus, residents develop and pursue goals towards long-term safety and independence. Services include individual and group counseling, assistance with legal protection, case management, and assistance to take the next steps towards independence.



My Sister's Place is committed to eradicating domestic violence.  They provide safe, confidential shelter; programs; education; and advocacy for battered women and their children.  Their goal is to empower women to take control of their own lives.
