Counseling Services for Sexual Assault Victims

The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors provides individual counseling for adult men and women, teens and children.  The counseling process assists survivors in working through their emotional issues and taking back control of their lives.  Counseling treatment goals are tailored to your individual needs.  Treatment focuses on working through issues related to sexual assault or abuse.



Counseling sessions run between 45 minutes to one hour.  The usual length of treatment is limited to 12 sessions.  The need for more or fewer sessions will be determined by the agreement between the client and the counselor.   Call for more information

The Center for Sexual Assault offers a 24-hour hotline, 757-236-5260, and accompaniment during medical, police and legal processes.  Trained advocates can assist you in making informed decisions by providing you with information and referrals.
