In-Home Personal Care & Housekeeping Services

In-Home care may be provided to frail and disabled persons age 60 and over.



Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, grooming and ambulation; average level of service is two hours per day, two or three days per week.



Housekeeping - cleaning of the primary living areas of the older person; light dusting and vacuuming of rooms the client uses daily; laundry; average level of service is two hours, one day per week.



Respite Care - offers a few hours off from the care of family member who is age 60 or older; average level of service is three hours, one day per week.  Respite Care up to 10 hours per week may be available to caregivers providing assistance to family members with Alzheimer's Disease



Fee is charged on sliding scale basis, according to income. People whose income is near or below poverty level are not charged a fee. However, people who receive a service for which no fee is charged are encouraged to contribute toward the cost of the service.



For personal care and respite, licensed service providers are engaged by the Agency.
