Who We Are
Transitions Family Violence Services offers emergency shelter at an undisclosed location for adults and children fleeing domestic violence. The emergency shelter offers a trauma-informed supportive environment focused on healing. Survivors can access care coordination, counseling, safety planning and community resources.
The 29-bed, handicapped accessible, Emergency Shelter is located in a confidential location. Trained staff and volunteers help clients gain admission and arrange transportation to the shelter and help families get started once they arrive.
Clients who exit the emergency shelter have the option of applying to live at the transitional shelter facilities, Next Step, to develop short and long term goals and increase independence and well being.
