Who We Are
Carilion Clinic Rehabilitation Services at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital services patients with complex needs who may benefit from intensive therapy levels. The inpatient unit is for patients who need a short stay with intensive physical, occupational, and/or speech-language therapy services. The focus is on helping patients recover from injury, stroke, or other medical problems and recover function or adapt to be able to do old things in new ways. The unit has 34 private rooms on the 7th floor of Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital.
Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital provides services to patients with various medical conditions that result in decreased function, mobility and speech-language impairment, e.g. stroke, Parkinson's, debilitation, injury, and post-surgical conditions.
