Hospice Services, Roanoke

Carilion Clinic Hospice in Roanoke offers hospice care.  Hospice care may be appropriate for patients of any age who face life-limiting illness or have a life expectancy of six months or less.  Care involves relieving troublesome symptoms and providing psychological and social support for the patient and family.

An order by a physician is necessary to begin care.  Once an order is provided and Carilion Clinic Hospice has been contacted by the patient, family, or physician to begin services, a clinician will contact the patient or family to schedule a convenient time to visit and initiate hospice care.
