Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), Staunton

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys operates the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), which is the only federal workforce program targeted to low-income older workers.  If you are 55 or older and meet the qualifications listed below, Goodwill is ready to help you refresh your job skills and assist your re-entry into the workforce. You will be placed in a paid part-time community service training assignment to gain valuable experience and knowledge. You will serve your community while expanding your skills and earning an income. Once your training is complete Goodwill staff will help you transition to a job that is right for you.

The program is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration through grant agreements with the state and eligible organizations such as Goodwill.
