One Stop Employment Resource Center, Arlington

Arlington Employment Center provides a full-service facility with information and resources for employment and career development.  Services available are:

• Self-Directed Services - Job seekers have access to the resource library, computers, telephones, fax, copy machine, internet access, resume development, work skills exploration, networking skills workshops, interview techniques workshops;
• Skill Assessment & Counseling Services - one-to-one assistance by staff, assessment of skills and service needs, development of individual employment and career plan, career counseling, in-depth interviewing skills;
• Training and Career Education  - occupational skills training, on-the-job training, job readiness training, adult education, and literacy.

The One-Stop Center provides resources and special equipment for people with sensory and physical disabilities. Individuals with hearing impairment can call Virginia Relay at 711. TTY users can call the Department of Human Services at 703-228-4611.

Available languages include Arabic, Spanish, and French. The agency will arrange an interpreter if needed. Call ahead.
