Arlington County Police Department conducts home and business security surveys for residents. Offers community programs for groups/associations on rape, robbery, burglary, larceny, fraud, Neighborhood Watch, etc.
Community Policing services are provided to include establishing a cooperative relationship with the community, identifying strategies to address crime trends and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for services, criminal investigations, and special event planning.
Offers crime prevention programs in Spanish and crime prevention literature in Spanish and Vietnamese. Provides selected crime data, based on census tracts, on request.
Language assistance: Uses in-house and Arlington DHS translators during business hours. For emergencies, 911 connects with a telephone interpretation service available in 150 languages.
