Who We Are

The Prince William County Police Department has 3 crime prevention officers and a civilian crime prevention specialists.  All are highly trained in all areas of crime prevention, including personal safety, senior safety, workplace-violence prevention, robbery prevention, drug abuse, home security and identify theft.

The Unit's members will help communities establish active Neighborhood Watch programs, assist businesses and residents with preventing crime and work with Patrol Officers to address neighborhood issues.

The Unit may provide speakers, assists in establishing Apartment Watches, Worship Watches and Fleet Watches and provides an engraver for the Operation ID program. For more information on any of these programs, call the Crime Prevention Unit at 703-792-7270.
