Who We Are

Alexandria Victim/Witness Assistance has a Court Orientation & Escort program.  Staff will answer questions about court process; provide court accompaniment the day of trial to victims, their family members, and witnesses; and inform victims of outcome of trials. Can make referrals to social service agencies that provide emergency financial, medical or psychological assistance to crime victims and to support groups.
Convenient to a bus. Not convenient to a subway stop. Partially accessible to persons with disabilities.
Agency provides an interpreter to non-English speaking persons for court appearances.
