Employment Services for Vision Impaired, Charlottesville

Virginia Industries for the Blind provides employment services to visually impaired individuals, including vocational evaluation, on-the-job training, cross-training, skill enhancing, counseling, work adjustment, trial work & job placement counseling. Fully accessible to persons with disabilities.

The Charlottesville manufacturing facilities manufactures/assembles U.S. Navy mattresses, mop heads, University and institutional mattresses, pillows, reflective safety vests, writing instruments, examination gloves, spices, mop handles and mop buckets.

The Virginia Industries for the Blind (VIB), the Enterprise division of Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI), currently provides employment opportunities in two manufacturing plants, eleven base supply stores, and six service locations.
