Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Piedmont Psychiatric Center

The Mental Health Intake Center, Pathways Treatment Center, Piedmont Psychiatric Center and Bridges Treatment Center (The Centers) serve as the gateway to mental health services. Call the Intake Center for an appointment with a mental health provider or admission into a Virginia Baptist Hospital acute program. Programs include mental health services for adults, adolescents and children.

Adult Psychiatric Program offers inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment for adults age 18 and older who struggle with daily life because of emotional crisis or troubling thoughts and behaviors. The cause may be depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, manic-depressive illness, personality disorders or other dysfunctions.

Pathways Treatment Center offers help in recovering from chemical dependency;

Bridges Treatment Center offers assessment, diagnosis and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders of adolescents and children.
