The Food and Nutrition Information Center (FNIC) provides information about food and human nutrition in person or by fax or by e-mail to persons with questions regarding food and nutrition.
Some topics covered are lifecycle nutrition, diet, and disease, food composition, weight and obesity, food safety, food labeling, dietary supplements, nutrition assistance programs, surveys, and research.
