Fan Care provides fans to persons 60 and older with limited income who need a fan or air circulation and cooling due to their health condition and living environment. Fans are distributed June 1-September 30 of each year, or as long as funds last. Fan Care is made possible through a grant from American Electric Power and local contributors.
This service is part of the Care Coordination program.
Local Area Agencies on Aging administer Fan care by screening applicants and distributing fans.
