Commonwealth Catholic Charities offers an Inclement Weather Shelter. The Inclement Weather Shelter offers two meals, shower and restroom facilities, and overnight shelter. The overnight shelter is for adults experiencing homelessness. Sleeping areas are large rooms with cots. The winter shelter is open nightly 7:00 pm from 7:00 am beginning around the first of November through the middle of April. Currently shelter at 1900 Chamberlayne Avenue. The shelter entrance is behind Eternity Church, facing Sledd Street.
