Who We Are

Greensville County and the City of Emporia have combined resources to provide transportation for residents and visitors in order to improve the quality of life.  The Greensville Emporia Transit system is designed to provide an efficient and effective transit route that connects residents with employment, education, healthcare, essential government services, shopping, and recreation through transit services within a one-hour timeframe. The bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift.   A rider must be at least 14 years of age to ride alone. 

The Greensville Emporia Transit (GET) will operate from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm Monday through Friday offering a fixed route.  The route can be found on the website.   Tokens can be used in lieu of exact change.  Tokens can be purchased at:
