Who We Are

Transportation planning services in the Rappahannock-Rapidan Region are supported by grants from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) to assist localities with a variety of transportation planning activities. The Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission (R-RRC) serves as a regional liaison to local transportation committees and provides technical assistance for localities, including an overview of transportation plans, GIS technical expertise, and attendance at local meetings as a regional transportation representative.
