Who We Are
Mount Vernon House Apartments provides 130 one or two bedroom apartments for senior citizens who are 62 years of age or older or handicapped & disabled regardless of age. All of the units are wheelchair accessible.
The complex hosts a community room, library, secured entry and is conveniently located close to the hospital, surrounded by parks and near to the Potomac River. This property allows one pet with a $200 deposit, service/companion animals are allowed and do not require a deposit. Certain pet restrictions do apply.
Planned activities and transportation for grocery shopping are offered one day per week. Employs part-time Services Coordinator. There are curb cuts, accessible parking spaces, ramps with handrails, wide doorways (wheelchair accessible); low cabinets, sinks, and countertops. Public transportation is available in front of building.
