Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed throughout the Norfolk area.  A volunteer must be at least 15 years of age and submit to a criminal background and sexual offender check.  The background check is $25.00 per person, the cost of which must be incurred by the individual.



Please submit a completed Authorization and Disclosure form and $25.00 check made out to Norfolk City Treasurer at the time of your volunteer interview.  Once an interview is completed and the background check is approved, volunteers will be placed and contacted with their assignments.
