Who We Are

 Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens (AASC) offers door-to-door transportation throughout the four-county area for people receiving services through Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens, AllCARE for Seniors, or adults of any age with a disability. This also includes transportation to and from the seven nutrition sites.



Appalachian Agency contracts with Four County Transit to provide this transportation service. For specific schedules, view Four County Transit, or call 276-963-1486 for more information.

 AASC sponsors Four County Transit for anyone of any age to ride on the public route.  This transit system serves the residents of Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell, and Tazewell counties.

Intake Process
Call Four County Transit to be sure that you live within the travel distance of the van and the coordinators will add you to the Nutrition site list. We have transportation coordinators available to answer your questions Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm excluding major holidays
