Blue Ridge Parkway

Blue Ridge Parkway offers a slow-paced and relaxing drive revealing long-range vistas and close-up viewes of the rugged mountains and landscapes of the Appalachian Highlands.  The parkway meanders for 469 mailes, providing recreational opportunities along the way.  Visit a Visitor Center for more information about specific programs.  Locate a Visitor Center

Offers maps, by request or for pick up. Small newspaper, printed 4 times per year called Blue Ridge Parkway which describes all tours and educational programs. The Parkway offers overlooks, camp grounds, picnic areas, visitor centers, concessions, trails and wayside exhibits.
Office: Parkway is open year round except for inclement weather. Call for current hours of campgrounds.
