AARP Smart Driver Course - April 2018

The AARP 55 Alive Driver Safety Program is a refresher course designed to meet the needs of older drivers, 50+. This course emphasizes how to adjust your driving in response to age related physical changes and declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, local driving problems, safety tips, and license renewal requirements. Auto insurance companies offer a discount to course graduates. This is a two day program; participants must attend BOTH days to receive a Certificate to satisfy auto insurance rules. Open to all. Cost: $20.00 per person non-AARP member, $15.00 per person for AARP member, payable by check only to the course instructor (not the SC front desk). Participants must sign up at the Senior Center Front Desk for the course, and provide full name, dates of class, and phone number.
